Fully electric Peugeot Partner donated to ROC Nijmegen
As a car workshop and supplier of used car parts Bart Ebben Specialist Citroën Peugeot donated an electric Peugeot Partner to a school for automobile engineering in Nijmegen. The school receives this vehicle on loan and the student can analyse and work with the vehicle in every aspect. An excellent way fort hem to ge tinto the technical details of a fully electric car.
Bart Ebben is very happy to contribute to the technical knowledge of the future mechanics in the Dutch automotive industry. An electrical car demands a specific approach and training and working with this vehicle will give the students both motivation and routine. The ROC school already had hybrid technology on board, but a fully electric car was warmly welcomed in their fleet of educational material.
In recent years there have been several projects base don a collaboration between the ROC school and Bart Ebben. From students being able to gain working experience in the Bart Ebben company to dismantling cars in class for a dismantling fee. The students got the chance to fully dismantle cars which is an experience that can hardly be found elsewhere in the automotive industry. The electric Peugeot Partner project builds on this already existing warm relationship.
Peugeot Partner Venturi
The car is a Peugeot Partner Origin Avantage powered by Venturi which relies on electric power only. There’s no engine on board except for the electric motor which can be found under the bonnet together with a large battery pack. On the outside there are not many aspects that distinguish the car from its relatives with petrol or diesel engines. Therefore many car parts are shared with the existing Peugeot Partner models
