Warranties and return policy (right of withdrawal)


7 days DOA product warranty (your received part is broken upon receipt)

This warranty protects you if one or more of the items you receive is damaged in transit or otherwise malfunctions. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the parts so that we can approve their return.

After the product is returned to the address provided by our customer service, we will send a new part free of charge (we will reimburse the return shipping costs). You can also opt for a full refund.

14 days return without reason; Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel your order - placed exclusively at www.bartebben.nl - up to 14 days after receipt without providing a reason.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full order amount, including shipping costs. Only the cost of return from your home to the online shop is for your own account.

Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the order so that we can approve its return.

Note: This warranty does not cover installation damage or underlying malfunctions of electrical and electronic components, such as an ECU set, display, radio, etc.
All electrical parts are tested and in working order before shipment. Computers, displays and radios are tested in working cars. After confirmation of their working order, they are sent to you.
ECUs (engine management computers) can be damaged by external factors, such as a short-circuit in the cable harness, a faulty injector, etc. You should therefore make sure that you first make the correct diagnosis and remedy the cause. We can help you make the correct diagnosis.

180 days quality warranty

If there are quality issues, you can receive a refund or an exchange part for up to 180 days. Contact us to find out if the part qualifies for this warranty.

Note: Due to the nature and intended use, worn parts and similar parts are not covered by this warranty.

Missing item(s), wrong item(s) or wrong package sent

Upon delivery of your package, make sure that it is in good condition (it must not have been opened) and confirm the contents before signing for the package.

If there are any issues, please contact us and follow our warranty process:

1. Please provide your invoice number and the article number.
2. Send us a clear photo of the outer packaging, all visible shipping labels and (if applicable) the received part.

If a part is missing due to shipping damage, we will reship the missing part/accessory free of charge.

If we have sent the wrong item, we will either refund you in full or send an alternative item (if applicable and available). Bart Ebben will decide whether or not you need to return the wrong part. We will reimburse the shipping costs when the part is received at Bart Ebben.

Repair period and warranty exemptions and remarks

Repair period category:

1 year: engines and gearboxes
180 days: all other parts except turbos
90 days: turbos

For the above categories, the warranty only applies to the main unit. The warranty period for bolt-on parts and additional accessories is 30 days.


Warranty expires

1. Wear, breakage and damage during use is the sole responsibility of the customer and is not covered by our warranties.

2. If you have damaged or misused the item, the product warranty is voided immediately. In such cases, no compensation is available.


The customer voids the warranty by:

- Flashing the device firmware or rooting a device

- Opening the housing in an attempt to repair the device

- Modifying, removing, adjusting or changing parts of the product

- Using the component in a way for which it was not originally intended

- Continuing to use the part if a fault occurs, causing more damage


Payment and refund

For each shipment, we charge the value of the parts and shipping costs. Where possible, invoices, shipping costs and credit invoices are offset against each other.
The refund will be made using the same method as the payment and will take place as soon as possible, but certainly within 5 working days.


Processing time

The processing time for exchanged parts is between 3 and 6 business days from receipt of the item and depends on stock availability.

No valid approval

Parts that are returned without valid customer service approval will not be processed.
