How do I find a part on the website?

In order to search our large parts portfolio optimally, it is important to know what you are looking at in your search results. Here is some important information that will help you make the best choice.

  • What are you searching for?
You can search for words in the search bar, such as 'door' or 'gearbox 3008'. This will yield a huge amount of search results. We also provide filters to help you find the part you need quicker. If you want to be 100% sure of your choice, use our match guarantee. If you enter your car's chassis number in the shopping basket, our advisory team can validate whether the chosen part matches your car. There is no extra charge for this service and it does not delay delivery. Take advantage of this match guarantee for the best experience with our used parts.

  • Searching by number
In our search bar, you can search by original numbers from the manufacturer (OEM numbers) but also by the numbers that are actually on your parts (product numbers).

(OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer)

The search results will contain many parts. We have created filters to help you sort through all these results. All results are in alphabetical order and the number of parts we have in stock is mentioned in brackets. We know the odometer reading of the donor car for almost all parts. We put this first in the information provided.

  • Searching by registration number or make and model
If you enter the vehicle registration number, the site will search for all parts that match the car you entered. There are often very many of them, so we have divided them into groups. Each group is again divided into smaller subgroups. The results from the subgroups are divided into variants.

How do I request a part?

You can always request a part from Bart Ebben, so our experts can help you as quickly as possible. This can be done in the following ways:

  • To request an Engine, go to this form
  • To request a Transmission go to this form
  • To request an ECU, go to this form
  • To request another part, click on the orange "Question?" button at the bottom right

Is everything in stock?

Yes, everything you see on the website is in stock in Malden. We have a mega warehouse where everything is ready for you, so you can get the part quickly and get back on the road.

We can also find anything that we do not already have in our warehouse and send it to you. Please use the enquiry form for this.

What are the abbreviations for a part?

If there is a number-letter combination at the beginning of the comments, this indicates the international code for quality. For example B1, where B represents the odometer reading (we now add it in kilometres) and 1 is the quality. (1 is above average, 2 fine, 3 mediocre) Please note: all our parts are quality assessed and if they do not meet our high standards, they are recycled and not included in our stock!

If there are two letters at the end of the comments, they are the initials of the quality controller.

RV = Right Front, RA = Right Rear

LV = Left Front, LA = Left Rear

LHD = Left Hand Drive, driver's seat on the left, as in the Netherlands

RHD = Right Hand Drive, driver's seat on the right, as in the UK

NFP = No Further Production, these parts are no longer made new and are therefore difficult to obtain.

Manual = Manual transmission

Auto = Automatic transmission

! = Please note! There are details.

+ & - = Additional items are present or absent (e.g. +cap +cover or -lamp)

Do you sell complete cars?

No, we at Parts Company Bart Ebben only sell parts. At Car Dealership Bart Ebben it is possible to buy complete cars.

How do you recodition parts?

We have parts reconditioned by professional companies. Not just engines, but also smaller parts, such as information displays, are reconditioned and made like new, by fitting them with a new screen, for example. We indicate this by displaying the word 'Reconditioned' in the results. This enables us to give rare parts a new life.

  • Depending on the make and model, in many other places.
  • Click here for practical information about the chassis number

The production day of your car can be calculated with the Citroën DS Peugeot organization number or ORGA number. Based on this date, it can be determined exactly which parts are applicable for your vehicle.

On this page you can calculate your production date

Where can I find the Color Code of my car or part?

Looking for a color code can take you a while if you don't know where to start. To order used body parts, a color code is an important factor.
This manual contains a number of useful instructions to facilitate the color code search.

Order

How can I be sure that I am buying the correct part?

Our advice team makes sure that the part you order fits 100% if you send the chassis number with the order. You can enter the chassis number in the shopping basket.

This free check takes no extra time; the part will be delivered the next day and you can be sure that the part is exactly what you are looking for. All you have to do is add the chassis/frame number to the part you ordered.

What are the VAT rates and margin scheme?

We have two types of VAT rates

The normal high VAT rate, for the Netherlands that is 21% and is used for new parts.
The VAT rate for the Margin Scheme is 0% and is used for used parts.

The Margin Scheme is an agreement we have made with the tax authorities, so that VAT no longer has to be charged on our used parts. (The 1st owner already did this during the 1st purchase) Behind the price is: 0% VAT (margin)

How do I see the status of my order?

When you order or return a part from Bart Ebben, you will receive a Track and Trace code via email. With this code you can see the status of your package at the relevant supplier (for example DHL, PostNL or Mainfreight).

If you can't figure it out or have any questions about this, please contact us at 024-3488011

You can see the shipping costs per part in the shopping cart.
If you order multiple parts, you pay the (highest) shipping costs once only.

Paypal
Sofort
iDeal

Giropay
EPS
Belfius
KBC/CBC
Przelewy24
Credit Cards

If customer service is closed, please call as soon as possible when we reopen (Mon-Fri 8.30 am) and email [email protected] with clear details so we can cancel your order.

Why do you need the chassis number?

Many parts are visually the same but differ slightly from each other. To make sure you receive the correct part, we may validate the part you order.

We offer a match guarantee: if you give us the chassis number we can find out exactly which part your car needs. You can then be sure that the part matches your car.

The only thing you have to do is add the chassis number to the ordered part in the shopping basket.
